PRZEGLĄD ODLEWNICTWA 5-6/2025

Dear Readers,

From 3–6 June 2025, the next ITM Industry Europe Trade Fair will take place in Poznań. Specifically for the foundry industry, together with the ITM Industry Europe Trade Fair, our Association has prepared a unique space for the exchange of knowledge, the presentation of modern technologies and the establishment of business relationships. During the FOCAST Foundry Salon, there will be, among other things: a unique panel discussion on the future of the Polish foundry industry: “Foundry of the future: visions for the development of the Polish industry in the context of global megatrends” with the participation of leading foundry industry experts, Industry Days with technical presentations from companies including: KLS, Industrial Solutions Group Sp. z o.o., Abas Business Solutions Poland, AGH’s Faculty of Foundry Engineering.

More than 30 companies will present themselves in a shared space of more than 700 m2, and these will include iron, steel and non-ferrous metal foundries as well as suppliers and business environment units. FOCAST will become the place where we will jointly promote and represent the Polish foundry industry.

Przegląd Odlewnictwa is once again Media Patron of the event and the current issue has been published especially for the event and will be available at our stand during the FOCAST 2025 Foundry Salon.

In recent months, the Polish Foundrymen’s Association has focused on promoting Polish foundries and their potential in the area of the defence industry. These activities were carried out during events favouring cooperation with the defence industry such as Defence24Days in May and the International Scientific Conference on Materials and Technologies for Defence and Security MaTeDaS 2025 planned for June and September, as well as the International Defence Industry Fair MSPO.  The promotion tool will be the newly created Catalog Polish Foundries for the Defence Industry, which will be launched in June.

The current issue presents, among other things, interviews with the presidents of important foundries on the Polish market – PGO SA and Metalpol Węgierska Górka Sp. z o.o. – in which there is no shortage of insights into the current situation, ideas for future initiatives and prospects for the future.

We invite you to read our magazine and participate in both the FOCAST Foundry Salon and MSPO as well as to follow the coverage of these events in the pages of the next issues of “Przegląd Odlewnictwa” and on social media.
