Przegląd Odlewnictwa 7-8/2019

Dear readers! We present to you the next 7–8/2019 issue of Foundry Review (Przegląd Odlewnictwa).

In this issue we would like to remeber all the important industry events in which we participated, which took place at the beginning of summer.

June activities started with the introuction of ITM Industry Europe trade fairs, which took place in Poznań. Since this year’s edition, they have gained a new identification, new name, and new logo. However, they still remained a place for presenting the development of science, technology and innovation, reflecting the things created thanks by man, his passion, determination, vision, creativity and knowledge, the technological progress is born.

The next GIFA Fairs, full of new products and technologies, were held in Düsseldorf. As always, they gathered many interested parties, helped to establish new business contacts and maintain existing agreements with the representatives of foundry industry from around the world.

In this issue, we also return to previous casting events, through interesting articles published on our pages. These articles were presented during the Conference „R&D projects in the national materials engineering sector. Trends and challenges „, which took place in March 2019, as well as during the XII International Scientific and Technical Conference on Pressure Die Casting” Innovations in Die Casting, which took place in May 2019.

In issue 7–8/2019 Foundry Review, we also invite you to take partii in the autumn conferences and industry events.

The first of them will be organized by Iron Foundry WULKAN SA in cooperation with our Association and the Foundry Chamber of Commerce „Automation and robotization of casting finishing processes. Grinding and machining”. The conference will be devoted to the presentation of modern CNC grinders from FENIX Machines Sp. z o.o., and is organized on the occasion of the 125 Jubilee of the foundry activity.

In November, another conference will be held at the AGH Faculty of Foundry Engineering, co-organized by the Main Board of the Polish Foundrymen’s Association on materials and technologies for the automotive industry, entitled: II International Conference of Casting and Materials Engineering ICCME 2019 „Materials and Technologies for Automotive Industry’.

The end of the year will be summarized by the most important conference for the Association, the International Conference „The key to success in foundry: Automation, Digitization, Saving Materials and Energy” combined with the Polish Foundrymen’s Day 2019. We hope that many Polish and foreign representatives of foundry industry will meet at this conference, as they do every year.

With cordial invitation!
